Pascal has developed a large family of solid refrigerants which transfer heat via solid-solid phase change.

  • These solids operate in the same pressure and temperature ranges as a typical gas refrigerant and can be used across the range of HVAC applications from freezers to heat pumps.

  • We are now working to develop large-scale solid refrigerant prototypes to demonstrate the promise of our technology.
