Pascal has developed a large family of solid refrigerants which transferheat via solid-solid phase change.
These solids operate in the same pressure and temperature ranges as a typical gas refrigerant and can be used across the range of HVAC applications from freezers to heat pumps.
We are now working to develop large-scale solid refrigerant prototypes to demonstrate the promise of our technology.
Pascal’s solid refrigerant technology enables HVAC systems which:
Have no direct refrigerant emissions
Are more energy efficient than the state of the art
Are smaller, quieter, and safer than existing systems
Directly interface with standard HVAC components
Are cost competitive with existing systems
